Dorsey White Played For Leatherneck Champions in Shanghai League
Philadelphia, Jan 7. - Dorsey R. White, formerly of Raleigh, NC, was a member of the Third Battalion football team which won the championship of the local American Football League at Shanghai, China, according to information just received at the Marine Corps news bureau here.
The Third Battalion is one the units of the Fourth Regiment of Marines, now on duty at Shanghai. For topping the Shanghai League the team was awarded the Cunningham Cup, donated by the American Consul-General at Shanghai.
